Finally

It seems that I’ve gotten the final kinks out of the pingback/trackback code

It has been a longer journey and I wish to thank a few sites

Keyvan Nayyeri started my journey with a series of posts
http://nayyeri.net/how-to-send-trackback-and-pingback-requests-in-asp-net
http://nayyeri.net/implement-metaweblog-api-in-asp-net
http://nayyeri.net/how-to-implement-trackback-handler-in-asp-net

and Jim Wooley (of ThinqLinq) made the journey complete with his series of posts
http://www.thinqlinq.com/Post.aspx/Title/receiving-trackbacks.aspx
http://www.thinqlinq.com/Post.aspx/Title/Implementing-Pingbacks
http://www.thinqlinq.com/Post.aspx/Title/Sending-TrackBacks

I’m sorry for this being in english but the sites linked to are in english..

Bye Bye
